What is MDM?

Mission Driven Ministry (MDM) is a non-profit (501c3) organization created to help churches and community organizations develop stronger ties with their constituents through need-based outreach. The organization provides strategies, resources, and training for organizations desiring to become more relevant and mission-focused in their communities. MDM also serves as an intermediary to obtain grant funding for MDM-member churches.

The MDM organization was founded by Pastor Eddie Polite as a result of co-authoring a book by the same name with Pastor Furman Fordham II, Vice-Chairman of the Board. The book was the distillation of a series of conversations they had regarding their mutual discontent with conventional ministry and their desire to see their churches become more intentional and contextual in their mission and ministry. Building upon this premise, Pastor Polite created MDM to help other churches and community organizations enhance their potential and expand community relationships through need-based outreach. Helping others as Christ did is just the right thing to do!
